Leave Rules
Prior Permission
: Leave must be applied for in advance through a written application signed by the parent/guardian.
Format of Application
: The leave application should include the student’s name, class, roll number, reason for leave, and duration of absence.
Approval
: Leave is granted only with prior approval from the Principal, except in medical emergencies.
Medical Leave
: If a student is absent due to illness for more than three days, a medical certificate along with written application must be submitted to the Principal. Kindly inform the class teacher and in school office about illness.
Unauthorized Absence
: Continuous absence for more than
10 days
without prior information may result in removal from the school rolls and re-admission may not be granted.
Exam Leave
: No Student will be sent home during the class hours. When a child takes leave during examination no re- exam will be conducted.
Leave during Periodic Test:
During PTs or minor exams no student will be allowed half day leave.
Half-Day Leave
: Students are generally not allowed half-day leave. In exceptional cases, parents must personally pick up the child from school after having produced parent Id provided by the school.
Attendance Requirement
: As per school and board guidelines, a minimum of
75% attendance
is mandatory to appear for examinations.
Special Cases
: Leave for family functions, travel, or other personal reasons should be planned to avoid academic disruption.
Emergency Leave
: In case of emergencies, parents should inform the school office immediately via phone/email and submit a leave request at the earliest.
